The Eid Al Adha holiday for federal ministries and entities will begin on Friday, 8th July, and will end on Monday, 11th July, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources announced on Thursday.
In a circular, the authority said that work for all federal ministries and entities will resume on Tuesday, 12th July.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has also announced that the paid holiday of Eid Al Adha for the private sector will start on 9th Dhu al-Hijjah (Day of Arafat), corresponding Friday, 8th July, and will end on Monday, 11th July.
This comes in implementation of the Cabinet decision regarding official holidays approved for the government and private sectors for the years 2021 and 2022.
The authority greeted President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates; and the people of the UAE and Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion.
