Eid celebrants who flocked to Dubai Festival City for making some fascinating retail purchases to mark the occasion had more than what they asked for: a dazzling fireworks display that simply took their breath away.
The dazzle of the pyrotechnic extravaganza was something some of them had never seen before: an out-of-the-world visual treat. After all, they are in a unique city: Dubai, a city which shows the world how to live life – kingsize and in style.
A traditional Lebanese dance group put on cultural masterpiece with 15-minute performances in the evening.
On Tuesday, July 12, visitors will get to enjoy one of the many traditions of Emirati culture with Al Harbia.
Local dancers are set to entertain the crowds at 5.30pm, 6.30pm, and 8.15pm with a folk dance performed by men and younger boys using sticks, while chanting Bedouin tunes to celebrate triumphs.
In Abu Dhabi, tens of thousands of people in the capital, Abu Dhabi, watched the unique fireworks on Saturday evening, in celebration of the first day of Eid Al-Adha.
The fireworks display caught the attention of the masses, who were keen to go early, especially in the evening, accompanied by family and friends, to enjoy the Eid holidays in a wonderful festive atmosphere, filled with joy and fun.
