Emirates Airlines confirmed that its flights from Heathrow Airport are currently operating regularly according to the scheduled programme, and all customers with issued tickets can travel according to their confirmed reservations.
The company stated that its Chairman Tim Clark and CEO of Heathrow Airport held a positive meeting, to discuss congestion at Heathrow Airport and its effects on passengers, their movement and their flight schedule.
Emirates expressed its readiness and desire to work with the airport to correct the situation over the next two weeks, maintain a balance between demand and capacity, and provide smooth and reliable flights for travellers through Heathrow this summer.
Emirates has put an end to more sales on its flights from London Heathrow until mid-August, to help the airport boost its resources and adjust capacity.
Emirates also said it values partnerships with airport stakeholders across its network with whom it engage continuously, and collaboratively, to secure flight operations and ensure minimal customer disruption, particularly over the peak travel months.
