VIDEO: Man fails to break jewellery display with a brick, chased by angry female staffer

The Wisconsin Police are searching for a man who tried to break a jewellery display at a jeweller’s store only to be unsuccessful in the attempt.

The incident took place at Kay Jewellers at Falls Parkway in Menomonee Falls in June.

According to the video footage released by the police, the man casually walked into the store and tried to break the jewellery display with a brick.

The authorities have urged members of the
public to come forward and help with the identity of the criminal who is on the run.

Residents and shoppers in the area are disturbed by the fact that the suspect is still on the loose.

CCTV footage shows a man walking into the store on June 1 and bringing out a palm-size brick to smash the display case.

But his repeated attempts to smash the case go in vain.

By now the store staff noticed the robbery attempt.

One of the staffers can be seen chasing away the robber who left empty-handed.

Police said the video has become popular among TV news channels.

They said that the suspect must be taken into custody as soon as possible before he commits another crime.  

The police also said that the suspect drove off from the scene in a Chevrolet Malibu without a licence plate.
