The Abu Dhabi Court for Family and Civil and Administrative Cases obligated a man to pay a woman Dhs10,000 in compensation after he insulted her in a school.
The court also obligated the man to pay the fees and expenses of the case, noting that the woman had suffered material damage, moral and psychological pain due to the insult.
The details of the incident date back to an earlier time when the woman filed a lawsuit against a man, demanding that he pay Dhs60,000 in compensation for the material and moral damages she incurred, and to obligate him to pay fees and expenses of the case.
The woman pointed out that the appellee insulted her in a school, and the court convicted him and fined him Dhs5,000.
