His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, President of University of Khorfakkan, inspected, on Wednesday, the student accommodation of University of Khorfakkan.
At the beginning of his tour, Sheikh Sultan was briefed on building for female students located in Al-Medifi area in Khorfakkan, where Sheikh Sultan listened to a detailed explanation about the various facilities and services that the accommodation will contain, and the level of accommodating number of female students.
The female student accommodation consists of 3 new residential villas on an area of 10,000 square feet and contains two floors that include residential rooms, the common multi-use hall in addition to the outdoor courtyard.
Then Sheikh Sultan moved to the male accommodation building located on Khorfakkan Corniche Street, where Sheikh Sultan was acquainted with the accommodation contents of the rooms, halls and services that provide a safe and stimulating environment for study during the period of residence.
The male accommodation building consists of 7 floors on an area of 7000 square feet, includes 70 rooms and other halls and rooms that can be used for multiple use for entertainment or education purposes.
Sheikh Sultan was accompanied during his tour by Engineer Salah bin Butti Al Muhairi, Head of Initiatives Implementation Authority "Mubadara", Mohammed Obaid Al Zaabi, Head of the Protocol and Hospitality Department, Dr Ahmed Al Shammaa, Director of University of Khorfakkan, and a number of university officials.
