If there is one company which has set a benchark in innovative and pathbreaking technology, it is Apple. There is something more: it has also probably set a trend in workplace functioning.
It has issued a directive to its staff to return to office for three days a week starting September 5, according to a report in a section of the American media. Another firm, Peloton, has also urged its staff to return to office work next month.
Staff will now have to conduct their duties at their workplace on Tuesdays and Thursdays. As for work on a third day, this will be set by individual teams, the report said.
The three-day workweek format was scheduled for September last year, only to be cancelled due to a surge in coronavirus cases.
New Apple products
Every year, Apple fans look forward to what their new products have to offer people across the globe. Now the firm has targeted Sept.7 as the date for the launch of its latest iPhone 14 amid a host of other devices.
The tech giant is set to release four iPhone 14 models, including a 6.1-inch iPhone 14, a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, and a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The iPhone 14 Pro models will include updated camera technology.
The new iPhones come with an A16 bionic chip.
There are three apple Watch models in the works, according to Indo-Asian News Service.
Meanwhile, a recent report said that the tech giant reportedly asked its suppliers to build at least 90 million next-generation iPhones.
