A passenger train at a station in eastern Ukraine was hit by Russian rockets on Wednesday, killing over a dozen.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said that at least 15 people and injuring 50 others.
In a video address to the UN Security Council, Zelensky said the rockets hit the train in the town of Chaplyne, about 145 km west of Donetsk.
He said that four wagons were on fire.
Ukraine marked its Independence Day on Wednesday and Zelensky warned ahead of time that Russia may try to stop the celebrations.
“Four passenger cars are currently on fire. So far, at least 15 people have been killed and around 50 people have been injured," Zelensky said.
The president said that the death toll could increase, rescuers are working at the site.
Russia has repeatedly denied that its forces were targeting civilian targets.
In April, at least 57 people died when Russian missiles hit the train station in the city of Kramatorsk, a Ukrainian official said.
