Shocking videos reveal the scale of destruction to hotels, roads, houses, bridges and crops in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province.
The huge destruction to the infrastructures was due to the raging floodwaters in Swat, Dir districts of KP province.
The record rains in the country has made it difficult for the provincial authorities to rescue the flood-hit families in the hill areas of Swat, Dir Upper, Lower Dir and Chitral districts.
A video of a newly-built huge house being washed away in Swat in the floods shows the devastation the rains have caused, with many others like it broken or swept away, besides the damage to roads, and hundreds of lives also lost in KP province.
In the viral video, the scary people can be seen shouting, Astaghfirullah, Astaghfirullah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, as the house collapsed within seconds of being hit and washed away in Swat Valley.
In another video, a popular bridge (Japanese bridge) in Khal city of Lower Dir, was swept away in seconds as the rain water caused huge destruction to the crops and other infrastructures in the area.
