The incident took place in the Bouatni area.
Police received a report about gunfire inside one of the apartments.
The police found that a person had shot his niece with a firearm.
Neighbors rushed her to the hospital.
Police investigations revealed that the victim died after being shot in the chest, neck and lower limbs.
The security services succeeded in locating the perpetrator, who voluntarily surrendered.
He was placed in legal custody.
According to the investigations, the accused, who was born in 1985, confessed to shooting his 17-year-old niece, after a verbal argument broke out between them.
He suspected that she was having an affair with a person. Legal measures were taken and the accused was referred to the Public Prosecution.
