VIDEO: Man arrested for brutally beating a woman in Kuwait

The security authorities in Kuwait have arrested a person on the back of assaulting and brutally beating up a woman on the street.
This came after a video clip had spread on social networking websites, showing a man chasing a woman and beating her up on the street.
In the video the man appeared smashing the woman’s car and chased her, before trying to force her to get into his car. The video caused widespread anger on social media.
The video, which was captured in the Jaber Al Ahmad area, also showed the man getting out of his car before using an iron piece to smash the woman's car, so she started screaming and jogging.
He then rushed to her and started to punch her strongly and continued kicking her despite she fell to the ground. Some passers-by had to intervene to rescue her from his hand.
Through the investigation, it was found out that the incident was due to a family dispute.
The Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior confirmed on it official account on Twitter that the man had been arrested and referred to the judicial authorities for further legal actions.
