An Egyptian cargo ship has capsized at a Turkish port along with dozens of containers onboard.
A video circulating on social media shows the moment the ship named Sea Eagle turned sideways after losing its stability and sank at the port.
The incident took place at the Turkish port of Iskenderun.
The crew members and port authorities were unloading the containers when the accident happened, according to local media.
The incident happened on Saturday, the outlet said, adding that the ship was built in 1984.
Video of the incident on social media showed a dockside forklift was unloading the containers when merchant vessel 3120 DWT tipped over.
People standing near the ship immediately moved away after hearing a whistle.
The vessel quickly plunged into the water, shocking crewmembers and people unloading cargo.
Türkiye's Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure said that 24 containers were lost from the vessel and a small oil leak was also detected.
All crewmembers were safely evacuated and no injuries were reported.
The government then issued a statement saying the ship was suffering from stability issues and efforts to balance it did not yield results.
An investigation has been launched into the incident by port authorities in Türkiye.
