The UAE celebrated Saudi National Day with pomp and vigour on Friday.
Dubai’s Burj Khalifa lit up in the Saudi colours to mark the event.
Burj Khalifa lit up in green and white to celebrate the joy, the achievements, and pride of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
It said on social media, “Burj Khalifa lights up to celebrate the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s 92nd National Day. We wish all the people of Saudi peace, progress and prosperity.”
Burj Khalifa also held a special LED show to commemorate the bond between the two nations for generations to come.
Abu Dhabi’s iconic buildings lit up in the colours of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia flag in celebration of Saudi National Day.
Yas Island Abu Dhabi, one of the world’s leading leisure and entertainment hubs, lit up in green in celebration of the 92nd National Day of Saudi Arabia.
Yas Island hosted a magnificent array of fireworks that were visible from Yas Bay Waterfront as part of the commemoration.
Attractions across Yas Island, including Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. WorldTM Abu Dhabi, CLYMBTM Abu Dhabi, Yas Mall, Yas Plaza Hotels, W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island, and Etihad Arena, were illuminated in green in recognition of 92 years since the foundation of Saudi Arabia in 1930.
Dubai Customs celebrated the Saudi National Day by receiving Saudi passengers at the airport with flowers, Arabic coffee, dates and greeting cards.
The Saudi brothers expressed their happiness and appreciation to Dubai Customs inspectors for this kind gesture and warm welcome, which reflects the depth of relations between the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Ahmed Mahboub Musabeh, Director General of Dubai Customs, CEO of Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, congratulated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership and people.
He said; “We are proud of the Kingdom's progress and advancement in its distinguished journey to serve humanity. The UAE-Saudi relations are distinguished and historic, and are culminated in the present by our comprehensive strategic partnership. This strategic partnership is a model of fraternity and integration to serve our region and beyond.”
