A man filed a lawsuit against another, before Al Ain Court of First Instance, demanding that he be obligated to pay him Dhs6,000, in addition to fees and expenses, because the appellee bought 6 sheep from him, and after receiving them, he did not pay the price, or return the sheep.
The complainant demanded that the decisive oath be given to the appellee, and in the session specified for taking the oath, the appellee did not attend despite being legally declared.
The court indicated that the appellee, despite being declared, he did not attend and therefore he owed the amount to the owner of the sheep. Consequently the court ordered him to pay the complainant Dhs6,000, in addition to fees and expenses of the lawsuit.
