The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (Adihex) witnessed the sale of the costliest falcon ever throughout the exhibition’s 19 editions.
The American falcon “ultra white” bird of prey on Sunday fetched over Dhs1.01 million (more than $275,000) in the falconry auction held annually as part of the exhibition.
The exhibition launched a distinguished edition of competitive falcon auction, which is one of the most attractive events for the audience.
This success is a first step for the upcoming surprises and novelties in the world of falcon auctions.
In the meantime, the Higher Organizing Committee of the exhibition began to prepare for in the next edition, by attracting the largest international falcon farms, which breed the finest and rarest species of falcons, so that the exhibition and its auctions will be a milestone in the world of falconry worldwide.
