His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, said "the census is very important, because it helps me communicate with the community, and the next census helps me to do the studies that I apply to reality, which turn into decisions, financing and projects."
Sheikh Sultan said this during the direct line on Monday,
"The Executive Council represents all Sharjah departments, and the Advisory Council is the observer of the departments and the decisions of the Executive Council, and I am between them."
Sheikh Sultan continued: "I will work to change the legislation for suburban and village councils to hear the voices and demands of the community, and this is the first correction of the administrative structure in the Emirate of Sharjah, and every municipality forms a community, and now I put each one as it needs all services, now every city has a community unit, and I deal with in a way that makes society in a safe health situation, its income is available, it does not need subsidy, and it never extends a hand.”
Sheikh Sultan said, "These matters, God willing, are easy because we strive and plan for them, and the representative of the Executive Council is the one who decides based on what he receives from the Advisory Council and the municipalities, and thus the process is clear."
He added: “People ask what the sheikh wants from us? I say, I want you to believe in God and commit to worshiping Him in the first place, then adhere to your human values, preserve your heritage, and protect your soil from pollutants. These are not only my demands, but the demands of religion and you must be with God, and if you are, God will be with you…”
