His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited Gitex Global 2022 on Tuesday.
The 42nd edition of the Gitex Global 2022, kicked off on Monday at the Dubai World Trade Center, with the participation of more than 5,000 exhibiting companies from 90 countries, including 35 start-ups worth over $1 billion each.
“A quick tour of the existing global technology companies confirms that humanity is in a historical transit stage towards a future governed by technology,” tweeted Sheikh Mohammed.
“Its economy is made of knowledge and its most important wealth lies in data,” said Sheikh Mohammed.
“The largest-ever edition in the history of Gitex Global is an indication of Dubai’s positive contribution to reviving the global technology markets and helping to discover new paths for the growth of its companies and the diversification of their business volumes.”
“Dubai will remain the main meeting place for future makers,” said Sheikh Mohammed.
Sheikh Mohammed said “we have strong partnerships with the world's leading technology developers, which we are proud of and are working to document in line with our development projects and serve to accelerate the implementation of our strategic goals.”
