An incident took place in Egypt 22 years ago but its details were disclosed nowadays.
A woman threw her child known as “Islam” into the Nile River, with the aim of getting rid of him, not expecting that he would return as a young man looking for his father.
The woman allegedly threw her son into the Nile River, because he was an illegitimate child whom she got from a man whose identity was unknown, according to Egyptian media.
After she threw him, she left the place, but fishermen rescued him and handed him to an orphanage where he remained until he was a young man.
After years, the mother thought that she had gotten rid of her sin forever, but Islam knew how he was delivered to the orphanage and started to search for his parents.
He met his aunt, who confessed to him what his mother had done, and guided him to her place in the city of Tanta.
As soon as she learned of his arrival, the mother fled, so Islam returned to his aunt and stayed with her in her house.
The mother kept evading her son and sent him threats to get away from her way, but he continued his efforts to find his father, specially that he received a phone call from an anonymous person who disclosed to him the identity of his parents.
Islam stated that his mother contacted him during a live broadcast on a local TV channel, expressing her wish to meet him, after he found his father.
