The Sharjah Social Services Department, Al Hamriya Branch, is organising a programme full of activities that will last for four days from 17th-20th November at Al Hamriya Beach Park, to celebrate World Children's Day, which falls on 20th November.
The programme will include various activities with the participation of six entities in the emirate, from 4pm until 9pm.

Speaking on the occasion, Maryam Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriya Branch, said that the aim of the event is to raise public awareness about children’s rights, in addition to creating an atmosphere of entertainment for children filled with educational, awareness and entertainment programmes.
She further highlighted the significant importance of Al Hamriya Beach Park and its strategic location.
Al Shamsi also noted that several productive families of members of the "Intaj” centre will display their food and household products throughout the event.
Al Hamriya Beach will launch a volunteer opportunity for university students through the electronic platform of the Sharjah Centre for Voluntary Work.
