VIDEO: Residents rescue child dangling from highrise in China after head gets stuck in window

A horrific video has been circulating on social media of a toddler hanging by the head from a window grill in Shandong Province, China.

The toddler was alone in the house after his family went out, so he went out to the balcony of the house on the fifth floor, slipped and hung from his head.

The residents of the building ran to rescue him, and divided the tasks, some of them carried a blanket on the ground to protect him from falling, and others supported him to lift him up so that he does not break his neck, until the apartment door was broken and they rescued him.

It is noteworthy that the incident sparked controversy on social media, amid questions about the role of the parents.

The video was apparently taken by a resident of a nearby building, and was widely shared on Twitter.
