His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, inspected on Thursday the new buildings project University of Kalba.
During his tour, the Sharjah Ruler was briefed on the construction work in the new buildings, which includes an administrative building with offices, archives, council, a medical clinic, care room and a chapel.

University of Kalba building also includes three buildings for male colleges and another for female students, each containing 20 classrooms, 11 laboratories, two halls for visual presentations, library, cafeteria, theatre, prayer rooms and administrative offices.
The new buildings include a forum for male students and another for female, which contains a theatre that can accommodate more than 150 people and will be equipped with all modern equipment and technologies. The forum will also include a number of study halls and holding events.
Sheikh Sultan listened to a detailed explanation about the progress of the work in the project, the extent of progress in its stages, and the most prominent services that it will provide. He then directed the acceleration of work in completing the project, as University of Kalba will open at the beginning of the next academic season.

The Ruler of Sharjah also directed the addition of more services for students, and achieving the diversity between air-conditioned areas and green spaces, and the provision of parking lots and separate entrances that facilitate entry and exit movement and reduce the distances between parking lots and colleges.
