Saudi social media influencer goes viral after donating part of her liver to a little girl

A Saudi social media influencer became an instant talk of the Arab world after she donated a part of her liver to a little girl in the Kingdom.

Al-Johara Al-Hoqail’s social media followers doubled when she revealed that she voluntarily donated a part of her liver to save the girl Jumana Al-Harbi, and fulfilled her childhood dream.

Her selfless act of empathy and compassion has been praised by social media users from outside the Kingdom.

The hashtag with her name was trending on social media platforms, local media reported.

The influencer told the media she has accomplished her dream that she cherished since the age of 15.

She revealed to the media that she had been looking for an opportunity to donate an organ since 15.

Al-Johara said that she heard about the little girl from her friends and immediately acted upon it, pointing out that many people die every day because not a single soul is willing to donate organs for them.

It was learned that Al-Johara has retinal injury in her eyes that required transplantation, but that did not stop her from helping the girl.

The media revealed that Al-Johara has been into volunteering since childhood, and has taken part in charity works.
