The Qatari Ministry of Interior stated that citizens and residents of the GCC countries, who do not hold a match ticket for the FIFA World Cup, would be allowed to enter Qatar without a Hayya Card, as of today, Tuesday, December 6, 2022.
The Ministry also stated that holders of match tickets who wish to attend the games live in a stadium must register via the Hayya online platform.
It explained that GCC citizens and residents would be allowed to enter Qatar without the need to obtain a Hayya Card for non-match ticket holders, through the country’s ports with the usual entry procedures.
It further said that transportation by buses would be available to all travellers through the land port, under normal circumstances. Parking spaces will be available for visitors without fees, the Ministry added.
Citizens and residents of GCC countries coming through land ports in their private vehicles will be able to enter the country as of December 8, 2022.
They must apply for a permit on the website of the Ministry of Interior at least 12 hours before the appointment. They will not be required to make any payment for a vehicle entry permit fee, the Qatari MoI added.
