Who doesn’t dream these days during the night? It is a very common occurrence. It is basically thoughts and emotions felt during sleep.
For many dreams mean hope and joy. Some say they reflect the aspirations of the subconscious, something you wanted to do during the day but could not. Some dreams are thought to be a continuation of what someone might be going through in real life. Oscar Wilde once said that a dreamer is “one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.”
Well, one Russian man had a dream but instead of seeing dawn, his life ended up in darkness: a fine of £400. He is also likely to be jailed. And pray, what was the dream about? It was about Volodymyr Zelensky! But instead of keeping the dream to himself or limiting it to his close ones, which would be considered a safe option, he posted it on social media.
According to a report in a section of the British media, Ivan Losev dreamt he was mobilised by Moscow and brought to a training camp for Russian conscripts. All of a sudden, Ukrainian troops, led by Zelensky, burst in.
They tied everyone up and were about to shoot them. Precisely at that moment, Zelensky passed Losev and recognised him instantly. Zelensky said: “Oh I saw your stories on Instagram, glory to Ukraine!” Losev was immediately freed, but the others were ordered to be shot.
Losev was very relieved and happy after his ‘escape from death’ moment. He asked the Ukrainian leader for a selfie to which he readily agreed.
After his Instagram post on the incident, he was summoned to the police station. He was told he was ‘discrediting’ the Russian army and by extension the nation’s invasion of Ukraine. He was promptly fined 30,000 roubles (£400).
Losev slammed the move to fine him, saying that his followers laughed and remarked it was a cool dream.
He added he was likely to be jailed over the issue.
