His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, arrived on Tuesday at Queen Alia International Airport leading the UAE’s delegation for the second Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, which is taking place in Jordan, along with regional and international participation.
The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah was received by Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince of Jordan; Jordan's Prime Minister Dr Bishr Al Khasawneh; several ministers, and a number of senior Jordanian officials.

Sheikh Saud is accompanied by a delegation that includes Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State; Dr Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, and Humaid Obaid Khalifa Abu Shabas, President of the Supreme Audit Institution.
Upon arrival, Sheikh Saud was accorded an official reception where the UAE and Jordan national anthems were played.
Sheikh Saud and the Crown Prince of Jordan also exchanged cordial talks that mirror the strong fraternal ties between the two countries.
The conference will discuss enhancing cooperation and joint work to provide Iraq with the necessary support to deal with the various challenges it is facing, as well as review regional and global challenges across food security, energy and healthcare.
