The Sharjah government said it would employ 2,417 citizens in 2023. This was revealed in a statement released by His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Wednesday.
The Ruler of Sharjah said during a meeting with the human resources department of Sharjah, “During the year 2022, we employed 2,249 citizens in the Sharjah government, and our goal is to employ 2,417 citizens in 2023.
“Everyone who registers with human resources should not review the department because the schemes are on the way to implementation.”
The Ruler of Sharjah said, “We are studying the receipt of the salaries of those who retired other than the salaries of the Sharjah government departments to the extent of providing a decent living with Dhs17,500, and we have 1,700 employment requests for women who cannot be employed due to their old age, and we have formed a committee to study their social cases.”
The Sharjah Ruler said, “We apologise for employment requests that do not meet the conditions, such as those who have another job or a pension, and the elderly.”
Sheikh Sultan said, “We have 3 projects to provide jobs that will employ competent staff. We hope that these jobs will make everyone happy, and we wish you all the best.”
