A 22-year-old GCC national died on Sunday morning in an accident after losing control of his vehicle, which led to its swerving and crashing into a rocky slope, in a mountain in Ras Al Khaimah.
Major Ali Al Rahbi, acting director of Al Rams Police Station, indicated that the police received a tip off at 11:24am, alerting about an accident in one of the mountainous areas in RAK, after the driver of a vehicle lost control, while descending from the top of a mountain, which resulted in his death.
Major Al Rahbi explained that police patrols and a national ambulance arrived at the site of accident and transferred the victim's body to the hospital, in preparation for handing it over to his family.
He added that the competent traffic authorities at the Rams Police Station has received the accident file to complete the legal procedures.
