The manager of an institution filed a lawsuit before Al Ain Court of First Instance, in which he demanded that a female employee who worked for him should pay Dhs100,000 as compensation, besides the fees and expenses of the lawsuit and the lawyer’s fees.
The appellant explained that the woman worked for him had insulted him, and the court convicted her for her act. He said that she contacted his wife, informed her that there was a relationship between them, and that he intended to marry her, which caused his wife to demand a divorce.
He further said that she also filed a malicious complaint against him.
The court indicated that the employee's mistake had been proved based on the final criminal judgment convicted her.
The court also found that the employee's mistake caused the appellant psychological and material pains, and estimated the compensation due to him at Dhs10,000 and obligated the appellee to pay the fees and expenses of the lawsuit.
