The scientific programme was kickstarted by Dr Ali Al Sayed Hussain, Director of the Pharmacy Department, Dubai Health Authority (DHA), United Arab Emirates, together with Dr Joseph Saba, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Axios International. Dr Joseph Saba, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Axios International said, “Most patients’ treatment journey takes place outside the hospital.
Therefore, there is an urgent need to close the gap between existing healthcare systems and changing patient needs. This can improve adherence to treatment and diagnosis services, providing equitable healthcare access to patients, especially those requiring chronic and lifelong medications.”
Anas Nofal, Managing Partner at Axios International, said, “Axios and DUPHAT have a strong partnership of over 10 years.
This year at DUPHAT 2023 we are presenting a two-day unique, exciting, and engaging scientific programme that is bringing together experts from diverse backgrounds to discuss the efficiency of healthcare access scientifically, systematically and with data-led insights that address issues from various perspectives to improve efficiency.
The scientific programme has been designed to provide hands-on, practical insights to all stakeholders working in healthcare-related fields.
Participants can expect to learn about the patient’s journey and needs, and challenges from an impact perspective.
They will also have an opportunity to understand the value and impact of accessibility in the patient’s journey and discover personalised services that increase healthcare efficiency on access and adherence to quality care and treatment.
On day two of the event, participants will receive exclusive announcements on new initiatives being launched in the Middle East and Africa region.”
The 28th edition of DUPHAT, one of the biggest annual pharmaceutical events in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, provides a global platform for the world’s best pharmaceutical and manufacturing suppliers to showcase their products and solutions and exchange new information, ideas, and innovation in the fields of pharmacy, technology, medicines, and patient care.
