Speeding car smashes into the side of public transport bus in Singapore

A motorist was killed when he drove straight into the side of a public transport bus in Singapore on Friday.
The driver of the GetGo, Singapore's largest car sharing service, died in the hospital from his injuries.
Video footage showed the car speeding into an SBS Transit bus in Yishun on Friday night.
The Civil Defence Force in Singapore rushed to the accident site at the junction of Yishun Avenue 2 at about 10.55pm.
The police said that the accident completely crushed the front of the car and jolted the transport bus.
Authorities said that a person was found trapped in the driver’s seat of the GetGo car and had to be rescued by experts using hydraulic equipment.
The Civil Defence said seven other people were taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital with minor injuries.
