The Dubai Court of Appeal upheld a 3-year-jail term issued by the Court of First Instance against an Asian gang to be followed by deportation for exploiting a minor girl in prostitution.
The case dates back to the time, when verified information received by the police stating that a girl under 18 was held in an apartment by a gang for using her in immoral acts and working in a nightclub.
According to the statement of a cop, who was part of the investigations team, an Asian gang was arrested red handed in an ambush following receiving verified information stating that a minor girl was held by a gang. They exploited her in immoral acts, the cop added.

She continued, “One of the convicts informed me that there was a job opportunity in a hotel in Dubai for a monthly salary of Dhs2,000, and I agreed to the offer. Then, another one of the convicts helped me in my home country obtain a passport with older age, so that I can travel to Dubai.”
She arrived in Dubai, where she and another girl who was also came on the same flight were received by one of the convicts, who took them to an apartment, where he locked her up and took her passport and visa. He informed her that she would work as a dancer and in immoral acts. She practiced her work for a month before they were arrested all.
