A fire broke out at an apartment in a building in Al Rigga area of Dubai on Wednesday night.
Dubai Police and Civil Defence officials evacuated the building in recording time.
Several fire engines and rescue personnel arrived at the site to assist in dousing the fire.
Police urged residents to stay away from the fire site and obtain information from official sources.
A witnessed said smoke was billowing from the building's windows.
Civil Defence members swung into action to douse the flames.
It is not clear that how the fire broke out in the building.
Authorities have launched an investigation in to the incident.
