The Badshah of Romance has conquered countless hearts – and how! The runaway success of Shah Rukh Khan’s latest release ‘Pathaan’ has captivated millions of his fans not just across India, but even around the globe. It is just not his presence or his acting that is setting the screen on fire, but even his numbers are sending film buffs into raptures.
Since the film hit theatres, videos of influencers and fans imitating the songs from the movie and dancing to them are making rounds on social media. Now, giving a new twist to the trend, the professors of a college of Delhi University, along with the students, jived to the beat of the humdinger ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ (When the Pathaan rocks).
The video of the sensational hit was shared by the Department of Commerce of Jesus and Mary College, where both the teachers and students are seen dancing their way to glory in tandem with the catchy tune, according to a report in a section of the Indian media.
In the short clip, the students are seen grooving to the song in what appears to be the college amphitheatre. Within a few seconds, four, female saree-clad professors enter the scene and steal the limelight. They are seen performing the hook step of the song along with the students.
The students said that the college has the "coolest professors."
