A woman filed a lawsuit before Al Ain Court of First Instance, demanding that a tent company be obligated to return her Dhs19,000 she had paid in return for renting a wedding tent.
The details dates back to an earlier time when the complainant filed a lawsuit in which she demanded that the appellee be obligated to pay her Dhs19,000, and a legal interest for delay of 5% from the date of filing the lawsuit, in addition to the fees and expenses.
The appellant said that she had agreed with the appellee to rent a wedding tent with all its services to hold her son's wedding for an amount of Dhs37,500, of which she already transferred Dhs19,000 to the appellee's representative through his bank account.
She added that due to circumstances beyond her control, she asked the appellee to cancel the agreement and return the amount she had paid, but the appellee refused to return it.
