Light rains fell on some coastal and northern areas across the UAE accompanied at times by active and sand-stirring winds on Monday. The light rains fell on Al Sila in Al Dhafra Region in Abu Dhabi at 3pm. The lowest temperature of 14.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah at 5:30am UAE local time.
Tuesday’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy and dusty at times with a chance of rains offshore, on islands and on some coastal, northern and western areas and a drop in temperature, particularly in the west, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said. The weather will be humid at night and on Wednesday morning in some coastal and inland areas, it added.
Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds will blow, turning to active at times at 15 to 25 and up to 35 kilometres/hour, while the sea will have moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and regular waves in the Sea of Oman.
Wednesday’s weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times with a chance of rains on some western, northern and eastern areas and a drop in temperature, the NCM said, adding that the weather will be humid at night and on Thursday morning in some inland and coastal areas.
Light to moderate northwesterly winds will blow, turning to active and sand-stirring at times, while the sea will have moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and regular waves in the Sea of Oman.
Thursday’s weather will be partly cloudy, dusty and cloudy at times with a chance of rains on some northern and eastern areas, while it will be humid at night and on Friday morning with a chance of fog or light fog in some inland and coastal areas.
Light to moderate northwesterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active at times, while the sea will have moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and regular waves in the Sea of Oman.
Friday’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy in general and cloudy at times with a chance of rains on some eastern areas. The weather will be humid at night and on Saturday morning with a chance of fog or light fog in some inland and coastal areas.
Light to moderate northwesterly to north easterly will blow across the country.
