VIDEO: Motorist allows dog to cross a road, speeding biker then hits car and lands on windshield

A horrific traffic accident was witnessed in Brazil, which sparked controversy among social media users, due to a dog.

A video clip of the accident that took place last Friday in the state of Minas Gerais, southeastern Brazil, has been doing the rounds on Social media, showing a dog trying to cross a busy intersection road. A red hatchback car stopped allowing it to cross.

While the car was waiting on Rio Branco Street, a negligent biker hit the car rear end, causing the rider to flip from the two-wheeler and land on the windshield of the car.

The motorcyclist got up from the windshield after it was shattered.

It appeared that he had not suffered serious injuries, while passersby stood watching the scene in astonishment.

The social media users entered into a discussion about who was at fault in this accident.

Some blamed the car driver for suddenly stopping in the busy road, others said that the biker should have focused on the road and left sufficient distance between vehicles.

However, in such scenarios the biker would be blamed for not leaving sufficient distance between vehicles.

As for the dog, it decided midway to not to cross the road.
