Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi shared breathtaking selfies from the International Space Station on Wednesday morning.
Sultan Al Neyadi said on Twitter, “From space, I salute earth. I salute our homeland and its leaders. I salute all those who carried Zayed’s Ambition in their hearts and aim high to the sky. The dream has come true and now we dream bigger.”
Al Neyadi took selfies with the planet earth visible through the giant windows of the ISS.
Social media users were stunned by the images and shared some encouraging comments.
A Twitter user with the name Zaman wrote, “Absolutely stunning view, I’m glad the UAE has entered space. Best wishes from Oman.”
