Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE, announced that on Monday, the “Bridges of Giving” campaign will be launched by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Global Initiatives, in cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent, to provide relief to those affected by the earthquake in Syria and Turkey.
Sheikh Maktoum said on Twitter, “Tomorrow, @MBRInitiatives will launch the Bridges of Giving campaign in collaboration with @emiratesrc to provide urgent relief to those affected by the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey. Let us join hands in support & solidarity for all those in need.”
UAE residents have been urged to contribute to support people affected by earthquakes.
Residents can donate at the Arena Hall of Dubai World Trade Centre on Monday, between 9am – 6pm.
Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, also said on Twitter, “Tomorrow, @MBRInitiatives & @emiratesrc will launch the Bridges of Giving campaign, aimed at offering a helping hand to our brothers and friends in Syria and Türkiye, reflecting the spirit of solidarity that our society cherishes.”
The UAE has united in its efforts to support families affected by the recent devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, through the launch of “Bridges of Giving”, a nationwide community volunteering initiative that will bring the UAE together to assemble relief kits for families affected by this natural disaster.
