The Cultural Diversity Section of the Security Awareness Department at the General Department of Community Happiness has recently organised a happiness initiative for service employees at the Dubai Police Officers Club.
The initiative aimed to honour and distribute gifts among 400 service employees of Dubai Police, as part of the Force's keenness to bring joy and instil happiness in the employee's hearts on various occasions.
1st Lt. Khaled Saqr Al Hai, Head of the Cultural Diversity Section, said that the General Department of Community Happiness is always keen to carry out activities, events, and honorary ceremonies for service employees who work in various general departments and police stations. "Coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, the initiative is one of many community-based initiatives implemented throughout the year to honour various groups working in the Dubai Police,” he said.
The honorary ceremony featured various activities, including free medical examinations, eye examinations, free medical glasses, discounts on eyeglass products, raffles for five travel tickets, and distribution of Ramadan Mir – a box that contains foodstuff such as cooking oil, rice, canned food.
The event witnessed the presence of a number of officials and supervisors from various general departments.
