The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, represented by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, announced the issuance of 432 housing support decisions worth Dhs298. 7 million.
The decision include between new construction, completion and purchase of ready housing, maintenance and addition to a home.
The move was implemented on the orders of the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to complete all requests for housing grants for previous years within the programme with an amount of about Dhs2.3 billion, which was announced in June 2022.
Suhail Bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, said that the new housing batch coincides with the blessed month of Ramadan, and is a continuation of the programme's efforts to strengthen the system of family stability and happiness and raise the standard of living and a decent life for citizens.
He stressed that government housing receives the attention of the wise leadership, led by Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and their brothers Their Highnesses members The Supreme Council of the Federation is the rulers of the Emirates, and reflects its constant keenness to meet the aspirations and needs of citizens, and to provide decent livelihoods and the well-being of the countrymen and their families, in a way that contributes to building a cohesive society within an environment that enhances the contribution to the building and progress of the country.
In turn, Eng. Mohammed Al Mansouri, Director of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, stressed that housing projects come at the top of the government's priorities, and therefore we are working with accelerated steps and in accordance with ambitious initiatives, plans and projects capable of meeting the growing housing needs of the sons and daughters of the Emirates.
He pointed out that the program continues the path of the late founding father, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in serving the nation in line with the system of societal well-being and happiness that the UAE is keen to establish and consolidate its foundations.
