Babies continue to bring smiles to everyone and in the hustle and bustle of the four-day Eid Al Fitr celebrations in the UAE, they indeed have made April 21, 2023 another unforgettable day.
A baby boy, Arbi El Ammari, was born at RAK Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah on the auspicious occasion of Eid Al Fitr to Moroccan parents Fatima Zahra and Badr El Ammari.

"My feeling is indescribable. The joy of Eid and the joy of Ramadan have mixed vitality. So happy and fortunate to welcome my baby on this day," said Badr El Ammari.
"Becoming a parent is a great blessing and welcoming your baby on this joyous occasion just doubles the celebration. I congratulate the parents and wish everyone a very Happy Eid Al Fitr," said Dr Raza Siddiqui, Executive Director, of RAK Hospital.

At exactly midnight on Friday, Gazal was born to her Moroccan-Egyptian parents Touria Kadouri and Ahmed Moheb at the Medeor Hospital in Abu Dhabi; delivered by Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department head/consultant Prof. Walid El Sherbiny, Gazal at 2.86kg. The ecstatic parents were "overjoyed" and extra blessed.
"This Eid Al Fitr will always hold a special place in our hearts because of this beautiful gift. All of us in our family are overwhelmed. We would like to thank Dr El Sherbiny and the medical staff for their support and care."
From Dr El-Sherbiny: "We are always happy to be a part of such joyous moments in people's lives. Delivering a baby is always a special event and to do such on a day as significant as Eid Al Fitr is truly a blessing. We wish the best for the baby and the parents to have a healthy and happy life ahead."
The first family to welcome their newborn at the Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children also in Abu Dhabi was the Al Jaberis of the UAE. They welcomed their newborn girl at 4:01am who weighed 2.7 kg.
The father, Saif Rashed Al Jaberi, was grateful "to Allah for rewarding us with the most beautiful gift on this Eid. I also want to thank the entire hospital team for caring for my wife and child.”
A baby boy was born a few minutes later while according to the press release, eight more deliveries were expected.
Hospital acting executive director Omar Al Naqbi said: "On the occasion of Eid Al Fitr, we are delighted to welcome two new babies. This heartwarming event strengthens our commitment as caregivers to provide exceptional care and support to these newborns and their families."
Over at the International Modern Hospital in Dubai, Kinda was born to Syrian husband-and-wife Eman Mohammad Zarak and Nader Hanoun at 2.92kg.
In a joint statement, Zarak and Hanoun said: "We are very happy that our long awaited little princess was born on this auspicious day. We are thankful to the whole medical team.”
"We are blessed to be part of this beautiful moment on the occasion of Eid when the world is in prayers,” said Dr Meera Anto.
A baby boy, Mohammed Hamdan Nissar, was born to Indian parents Huda Khadeer Mohammed and Mohammed Nissar Ahmed, a mechanical engineer, at NMC Specialty Hospital, Abu Dhabi on Eid day. The parents said they were very happy that their baby was born on this special occasion. “It is truly a blessing for us.”
Dr Sunita Gupta, Consultant Obstetrics and Gynaecology, said, “Eid Mubarak! I am very delighted to conduct the delivery of baby of Huda on this auspicious occasion. May Allah bless him with lots of happiness and good health.”
A baby boy, Ben Johnson Simon, was born to Indian couple Prisilla Susan Thomas, a staff nurse, and Ruben Simon Johnson, an oil terminal operator, at NMC Specialty Hospital, Al Ain.
Dr Aruna Janaki, Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, said: "The mother had to undergo emergency Caesarean, due to foetal distress. After performing the Caesarean section delivery, both mom and baby are doing well."
The parents said, “We have chosen Dr Aruna Janaki, because of her good reputation and from the feedback of the mothers who delivered under her care. This is our firstborn child, so we are very delicate and particular with everything, we need to choose the right hand for our baby. The tender love and care of the nursing staff plus the doctor’s extra mile in handling my delivery made our experience more than we had expected.”
