Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre (“JRCC”) has successfully concluded its ‘Kahraman Ramadan Majlis’ event, which saw over 90 corporate and social reservations. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for family, friends, and co-workers to come together and enjoy Iftar and Suhoor that featured a wide range of international and oriental dishes. The high turnout at the event reflects the community's commitment to strengthening social relations during the holy month.
The event featured beautiful interior designs sponsored by the "Dream Design" Event Services Company and provided a main dining hall for corporate and company bookings, along with two private majlises for family and friends gatherings. Each majlis had a dining area, floor seating area, entertainment facilities, and TV screens showing Ramadan programs, accommodating 10 to 30 guests each.
The event welcomed reservations from various organizations such as Sharjah Museums Authority, Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah Road & Transport Authority, Sharjah Capability Development, Sharjah Media Council, Invest Bank, SNOC, Financial Control Department of Sharjah, Patients Friends Charitable House in Sharjah, Sharjah Education Academy, Sharjah Courts, and Ministry of Justice - Public Prosecutions.
During the holy month, JRCC provided a variety of services, including pick-up orders and outside catering services for various government organizations and other social events. After a 3-year hiatus due to the pandemic, JRCC also relaunched the ‘Azyan’ fashion exhibition for Ramadan. The exhibition showcased the latest fashion, perfumes, and jewelry under one roof for 18 days from March 30 to April 16.
Hanan Al Mahmoud, CEO of JRCC, expressed her delight with the success of the event, saying: "As the month of Ramadan came to an end, it brought joyous news for Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre, marked by the reunion of the ‘Kahraman Ramadan Majlis’ and the much-anticipated ‘Azyan’ fashion' exhibition making a comeback in a fresh new format after a prolonged break."
According to her, the return of ‘Azyan’ allowed visitors to prepare for Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr nights, with the exhibition showcasing an exclusive collection of 17 exhibitors specializing in fashion, perfumes, and jewelry. Visitors also enjoyed the delightful Ramadan atmosphere at the outdoor café.
JRCC staff also oversaw the preparation of 2,000 iftar boxes per day for the Al-Noor Mosque initiative in Sharjah during Ramadan, with volunteers from both JRCC and Forsan Al Emirates helping to pack the boxes. The event was a resounding success, with the hope of providing exceptional service to its clients and the community in the future.
