A Dubai Civil Defence member died while fulfilling the call of duty in a fire accident in Al Awir area.
Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, said civil defence men sacrifice everything to protect lives, property, and the safety of our country.
He wrote on Twitter, “Civil defence men sacrifice everything to protect lives, property, and the safety of our country... Dubai will proudly remember Sergeant Omar Khalifa Al Ketbi, who was martyred while fulfilling the call of duty in a fire accident in Al Awir area... We ask God to bless him with the abundance of his mercy and grant solace to his family, relatives, and comrades in civil defense.”
Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, UAE Minister of Finance, said on Twitter, “We offer our condolences to the family of Sergeant Omar Al-Ketbi, who was martyred while fulfilling the call of duty. Omar will remain alive in the memory of Dubai and the hearts of its people. The loyal men will remain alive with their great deeds. Civil defense men and other soldiers of the homeland risk their lives every day to keep our homeland safe and stable…”
Sergeant Omar Khalifa Al Ketbi and other team members were attending a fire when the tragic incident took place.
