But have you ever imagined CCTV cameras helping a wife to catch her cheating husband. This exactly has happened with a woman in India’s Kerala state where a traffic fine led her to catch her husband red-handed.
According to the reports in local media, a man decided to travel on a scooter with his woman friend without helmet on April 25.
As the man, an Idukki native, was not wearing helmet is a traffic offence, CCTV camera clicked his photo with and the fine was sent to his home.
The twist in the tale is that the vehicle was registered in his wife’s name to the fine was addressed to her.
After receiving the fine along with the photograph on her mobile, wife started asking her husband about the lady with him on the scooter.
The 32-year-old man, who works at a textile shop, denied knowing the woman and said he only gave her a lift.
The wife refused to believe him and a heated argument ensued between them.
Later the wife filed a police complaint against her husband for assaulting her and their 3-year-old child.
Police arrested the man on charges of voluntarily causing hurt, wrongful restraint and obscene acts and assault or neglect of child.
