A video clip, spread on Twitter, monitored the sofa flying in the sky due to a strong hurricane-speed storm in Ankara.
The authorities said the storm was experienced in several regions of the country.
Local residents said that strong winds blew the sofa out of one of the balconies of a highrise apartment in Ankara.
The viral video showed the sofa floating in the air before landing on someone’s private garden.
A social media user said, “Breaking News: Sofas are flying during storm in Ankara.”

The Mayor of Ankara Mansur Yava urged residents to remain indoors.
He said the authorities are dealing with multiple reports of damage, including falling trees and flying roofs.”
Well, not all were convinced that the sofa could easily be picked by winds.
The user wrote, “Somebody didn’t want it anymore and knew this was their chance to get rid of it without having to pay someone to remove it from their home and dispose of it. Genius.

Local reports revealed that heavy rain and storms affected the capital, and the adjacent regions.
