UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Biden and Putin were among world leaders congratulating Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan after he won Sunday's historic run-off election to extend his two-decade rule.
UAE: 'enhance strategic partnership'
Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed congratulated Erdogan on his re-election during a phone call.
During the call, His Highness wished Erdogan success in leading his country and achieving the aspirations of his people towards further progress and prosperity, while expressing his hopes for continued cooperation in order to strengthen the relations of the two countries and their strategic partnership for the benefit of their peoples.
In turn, Erdogan thanked Sheikh Mohamed for his congratulations and the sincerity expressed towards Turkey and its people.

Biden: 'global challenges'
US President Biden said he hoped to work with Erdogan on "shared global challenges." "I look forward to continuing to work together as Nato allies on bilateral issues and shared global challenges," Biden tweeted, making no mention of recent tensions in the bilateral relationship.
Putin: 'logical result'
Russia's President Putin, who has collaborated closely with Erdogan on key international issues despite some disagreements, told Turkey's leader his win was "the logical result of your dedicated work."
