His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, approved new futuristic masterplan for Palm Jebel Ali, twice the size of Palm Jumeirah.
The project will add approximately 110 kilometres of coastline to Dubai and will feature over 80 hotels and resorts.
Sheikh Mohammed said, “Dubai is growing and thriving... We announce today the new plan for Palm Jebel Ali... Its area is twice that of Palm Jumeirah.. Its beaches reach 110 km… Its marine and green pastures will provide housing with the highest quality of life.. And its visitors and tourists will enjoy more than 80 hotels and resorts that provide beautiful tourist experiences for them and their families...
We announced our goal to double Dubai's economy by 2033... and every day we add a new brick in building the most beautiful city in the world.”
Sheikh Mohammed said, “Dubai today unveiled the futuristic masterplan of Palm Jebel Ali, another project that will deliver our vision to raise the city's status as a leading global city.
“Twice the size of Palm Jumeirah, this landmark destination will have a 110 km shoreline featuring extensive green spaces and an unrivalled luxury beachside lifestyle. Palm Jebel Ali will have over 80 hotels and resorts and a wide choice of entertainment and leisure facilities.
Sheikh Mohammed said, “We reaffirm our commitment to achieve the goal of the Dubai Economic Agenda to double the size of the city's economy by 2033. Each day, we add a crucial component to the blueprint to build the world’s greatest city.”
