The Information City, chaired by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, and its strategic partner MTN, are continuing its community activities and its journey during the summer holidays to include the educational, cultural, and humanitarian sectors hand in hand with many government entities, private and public institutions in Dubai. The Information City has established strategic partnerships with KHDA, Dubai Police, Civil Defence, Dubai Ambulance, and a number of other government departments, charities, and others.
The Information City continues its ‘Saada’ 2023 initiative in cooperation with various government entities that support and encourage these initiatives, which reflect the role of the leaders of the country and their insistence on the importance of social and human values and synergy for the progress and good of the country. Through strategic partnerships with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), for more than 10 years, more than 5,000 students have been trained to use computers given to them free of charge by the Information City.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum said: ‘Saada...Teach...Protect’ 2023 initiative is a continuation of the journey of challenge and perseverance, and thanks to the work team at Information City and the support of local and international partners, this initiative achieved within a short period of time huge progress on the health and educational levels, especially on the social level, as it contributes to converting a number of schools to green energy, and in return, school administrations will reduce the annual fees incurred by some students as an alternative to the green energy fees they obtained from the initiative.”
He added, “We also work seriously and with dedication in line with the vision of their Highnesses who are in charge of the progress of the country, as we cooperate with Dubai Police, the General Directorate of Civil Defence, and Dubai Ambulance to organize visits to schools participating in ‘Saada...Teach...Protect’ 2023 initiative to enlighten students about traffic, health and preventive laws, and to provide the necessary awareness to protect our children from accidents and how to apply the best methods to avoid road accidents, as well as providing the necessary instructions for protection from fire.”
The Information City seeks a clear vision to contribute to the development of society in all aspects, as it continues its series of community activities through the ‘Saada’ initiative, which it started in 2018 by providing 1,000 school bags with stationery supplies for students between the ages of five and nine years. And paid part of the school fees for 250 male and female students, in addition to providing food baskets to many families and individuals in Dubai.
