At least 15 killed in Egypt traffic accident

At least 15 people were killed and 3 others were injured on Tuesday, in a collision between a small passenger bus and a heavy truck on Al Kuraimat Road in Al Saf in Giza Governorate, Egypt, according to Egyptian media.

The security services rushed to the scene of the accident, to find through preliminary investigations that the microbus hit the heavy truck which was parked on the road, killing 15 people, including the microbus driver, and wounding 3 others, according to the Egyptian newspaper, Al Watan.

The Public Prosecution moved to the scene and ordered the burial of the deceased, after their bodies were transferred to Atfih Central Hospital and Al Saff hospital, while the injured were transferred to Atfih Central Hospital to receive the necessary treatment.

The Public Prosecution requested that the necessary investigations be conducted regarding the incident and that the truck driver be summoned to hear his testimony.
