Al Ain Court of First Instance obligated a person to pay Dhs4,440, the value of a phone owned by an institution, which he seized, in addition to paying Dhs1,000 in compensation for damages incurred.
In the details, an institution filed a lawsuit against a person, requesting that he pay Dhs4,440, besides a compensation of Dhs10,000, in addition to the fees and expenses of the lawsuit, explaining that he had seized a phone owned by it, worth Dhs4,440 and he was convicted of the incident under a criminal verdict.
The court clarified that the case papers prove the suspect’s conviction, according to the criminal verdict, on the charge of fraudulently seizing the phone, and then obligated him to pay the appellant Dhs4,440, in addition to a compensation of Dhs1,000.
